Passion, Focus, Creativity: Cora Tsouflidou's Recipe For Success

“We need to reinvent ourselves all the time,” Cora Tsouflidou, business speaker and founder of the successful Cora restaurant chain said in a recent article. Staying relevant and achieving long-lasting success comes from waking up every morning prepared to do something different and creative, she explains. Not only only that, she also says you shouldn't fear the competition or be threatened by them, but rather, you should use that competition as fuel to drive your company forward and keep you motivated to try new things. Tsoufildou implemented this advice in her own business ventures when she created the first Cora restaurant in Montreal. Now a booming chain with over 130 locations, Cora became successful thanks to Tsoufildou's triple-pronged strategy: passion, focus, and creativity.

While breakfast restaurants are a dime-a-dozen, the Cora chain sought to bring a new approach to the first meal of the day. Focusing on healthy, innovative food choices rather than sticking to the tried-and-true "greasy spoon" approach, she says she didn't necessarily create anything new—she simply reinvented what already worked into something that was her own. With plans to expand into the United States in 2014, her business strategy and passionate work ethic have certainly paid off. She also says that she enjoys helping others uncover their own entrepreneurial spirit, and loves inspiring new business owners to bring their ventures to fruition. She does this in her keynote speeches where she pairs her natural penchant for good storytelling with hard-hitting business lessons and genuine words of encouragement. She promotes the importance of community, and shares the personal success story that has made her a much sought-after speaker in the business world.
