Design Speaker Neri Oxman to Keynote Fabricate Conference in London

MIT design speaker Neri Oxman — who just received a rave review from her speech at Bucknell University — will take to the stage again at London’s Fabricate Conference in April. A brief description of Fabricate, here:
Discussing the progressive integration of digital design with manufacturing processes, FABRICATE will bring together pioneers in design and making within materials science, construction, engineering, manufacturing, materials technology and computation.
That blurb perfectly sums up Neri Oxman’s radically new approach to design. To an extent rarely attempted, Neri’s work — including a chair that moves with your body weight — fuses art, science, technology, biology, and engineering to arrive at something spectacular: the future of design. A simply fascinating speaker, Neri earns ovations everytime she shares her groundbreaking ideas on biomimicry, design, and the what our material world can, and will, look like.
