A Day In The Life of Dragons' Den Judge Arlene Dickinson

No two days are the same for Arlene Dickinson, a judge on the hit business show Dragons' Den. Except of course, for the early starts, the dedication to coffee-drinking, and the fact that she always has a whirlwind of activities to consistently keep her on her toes. Recently, Women of Influence magazine featured a gorgeous photo spread chronicling a hectic day-in-the-life of Dickinson, who is the CEO of Venture Communications and the bestselling author of Persuasion: A New Approach To Changing Minds. (The same issue of Women features a cover story on Margaret Atwood, an appreciation of Frida Kahlo, and a Q&A with CNBC's Maria Bartiromo.)

On this day, between filming the latest episode of Dragons' Den, and meeting with her creative team at her marketing firm, Dickinson still had time to make her way to the National Defence Headquarters in Ottawa to be named an Honorary Naval Captain. Dickinson's tenacious entrepreneurial drive, her passion for success, and her dedicated involvement with the community earned her the prestigious designation. In the same vein, Dickinson gives ambitious and personal keynotes that both impart some business know-how and inspire audiences to turn their dreams into a reality.
