Polly LaBarre Speaker Profile Mavericks at Work One Year Later
The book was hailed by The Economist as

Showcasing the companies that are rethinking the logic of how business gets done, Mavericks at Work stands as one of the blockbuster business books of the decade. Co-authored by Polly LaBarre, it hit bestseller lists, won critical acclaim and found a worldwide audience (local editions are selling in Japan, Australia, and soon, China.) This January, the paperback arrives, along with a renewed wave of interest. LaBarre, who has only cemented her reputation as one of this country’s best business speakers, recently joined CNN as a regular contributor. Her "Idea Factory" segments on American Morning air every Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 7 – 9 am.

John Elder Robison Speaker Profile From a Life with Asperger's, a New Perspective on Autism
John Elder Robison has written an exceptional memoir on growing up with Asperger;s, during a time when the diagnosis didn't exist

As a child, John Elder Robison seldom met anyone's gaze, and struggled with the simplest social interactions. Only much later -- at the age of forty -- did he have a name for this condition: Asperger’s Syndrome. His brother, Augusten Burroughs, wrote about him in Running with Scissors. Now, Robison has written his own memoir, Look Me in the Eye: My Life with Asperger's. The book is receiving acclaim from the press, and major support from the autism community; based on pre-orders, it is already a bestseller. In his talks, Robison draws on his own experiences to show us how people with autism can overcome -- and even use -- their so-called limitations to lead fulfilling lives.

Daniel Lyons Speaker Profile The Real Impact of Technology from Fake Steve Jobs
Forbes Technology Columnist, Dan Lyons, charts the rise of Apple -- and its genius CEO -- in a celebrated blog and new book

In his popular satirical blog, written from the point of view of Steve Jobs ("I invented the friggin' iPhone. Perhaps you’ve heard of it?"), Dan Lyons uses humor to comment on deeper concerns, such as the impact of technology on our lives. His new book, Options, expands on his blog writings, which might best be described as Wired meets Stephen Colbert. In his talks, which fuse solid business credentials with a sense of fun, Lyons examines how Apple has become one of the world’s top brands. Having extensively covered Apple, he identifies the keys to their success, and shows audiences how to apply them to their own business.

Peter Sealey Speaker Profile A Legendary Marketer's Advice to Small Companies and Non-Profits
Peter Sealey, former Chief Marketing Officer for Coca-Cola, discusses the value of simplicity for small companies and why non-profits must learn from the profit sector

Peter Sealey, a professor at The Peter F. Drucker Graduate School of Management, recently shared his thoughts on how smaller companies can compete against bigger players, and why non-profits need as much discipline as the profit sector to stay competitive. When asked how a small company, with a limited budget, can respond to trends in the marketplace, Sealey advises them to hold quick focus groups, observe consumers in the act of actually using their product, and ask: how do they interface with the product? Are they happy? "There's not a marketer in this country who can't afford a couple of group sessions," says Sealey.
