Trevor Linden
Former NHL All-Star and Olympian
Since his retirement, Trevor Linden has entered the business world with the same focus he brought to the ice for 20 years. He's partnered with companies across Canada—like Bell, CIBC and Ernst and Young—to assist in the activation of their business programs. In 2008, Trevor partnered with The Airey Group to pursue his interest in real estate and design projects. Since then, they have jointly developed several quality award-winning properties in the Lower Mainland and Victoria. Linden also created Club 16 Trevor Linden Fitness, which strives to making physical activity fun, non-intimidating and motivating.
Linden's dedication to community endeavors and charitable causes has, and still continues to make Linden one of Canada's most respected athletes. The Trevor Linden Foundation, a registered charity, was established in 1997 in support of youth and children with special needs, and also serves to improve the lives of young Canadians through encouraging and facilitating educational initiatives. In addition to his charitable grants and fundraising initiatives, Linden also supports charities by lending his name and time to public awareness campaigns. He has appeared in several key charity campaigns including; Cops for Cancer, Canuck Place Children's Hospice, Canadian Cancer Society BC & Yukon Preventative Health Campaign, Ronald McDonald House BC, The Heart & Stroke Foundation of BC and the BC Children's Hospital.
