Book Speaker
Chuck Pfarrer served as an assault element commander at the US Navy's famed SEAL Team Six: his deployments included the Middle East, Europe and Central America. He witnessed the marine barracks bombing in Beirut, and has led over a hundred combat missions in the Middle East. Commanding and accessible, drawing on his vast experience, Pfarrer consults government and industry alike on special operations, terrorist tactics, techniques and procedure, counter-proliferation, and terrorist employment of weapons of mass destruction.
After his military service, Pfarrer embarked on a successful second career as an author and Hollywood screenwriter. He is the man behind films such as The Jackal (Bruce Willis), Darkman (Liam Niesen) and Red Planet (Val Kilmer). His bestselling autobiography, Warrior Soul: The Memoir of a Navy SEAL, is in its seventh printing. Pfarrer's debut novel, Killing Che, received critical success, drawing comparisons to Graham Greene and Gabriel Garcia Marquez. His latest book is SEAL Target Geronimo: The Inside Story of the Mission to Kill Osama bin Laden.
A pioneer in evolving media, Chuck Pfarrer is also the author and creator of six graphic novels for Dark Horse Publishing, as well as two Murphy Award-winning computer games, Silent Steel and Flash Traffic, for Tsunami Media. A news mainstay, Pfarrer has written Op-Eds for The New York Times and appeared as a counter-terrorism expert on Fox News, the Arabic network Al Hura, and NPR. He presently serves as a contributing editor to The Counterterrorist, a journal of modern counterinsurgency and counterterrorism studies.

Leadership Lessons from a US Navy Seal
Chuck Pfarrer takes you into the fast-paced world of the Navy Seals to examine what organizations can learn about teamwork and leadership. The Seals employ a collegial command structure where out-of-the-box thinking is not only encouraged but expected. They approach their missions like a jazz quartet: members are allowed to improvise--to let their individual talents shine through--while contributing to the whole and getting the team that much closer to the goal. Pfarrer's firsthand account of what you can learn from this world-elite group provides a different, but practical, spin on how to achieve results when every member of the team is working, at full capacity, toward the same goal.

Michican Society of Hematology and Oncology
Chuck Pfarrer was a great addition to our recent Annual Meeting Banquet. Our audience spanned age groups and interests. Because of the high level of education of those in attendance, they are often difficult to entertain but Chuck had them riveted. His conversational style and dry wit provided counterpoint to the harrowing scenarios he delivered.
Most appreciated was the tribute Chuck paid to his oncologist and our member, Dr. Richard Kosinski. Chuck was sincerely humble and most grateful to Dr. Kosinski for his care.
Chuck's program was both fascinating and relevant. The audience came away with a deeper understanding of the complexities of the Bin Laden mission and a renewed admiration of the valor and skill of those who were involved.
We are worried that we will have a very tough act to follow for next year's event.

SEAL Target Geronimo
On May 2, 2011, at 1:03 a.m. a satellite uplink was sent from Pakistan crackling into the situation room of the White House: "Geronimo, Echo, KIA." These words, spoken by a Navy SEAL, ended Osama bin Laden’s reign of terror. SEAL Target Geronimo is the story of Neptune's Spear from the men who were there. After talking to members of the SEAL team involved in the raid, Pfarrer shares never-before-revealed details in an exclusive account of what happened as he takes readers inside the walls of Bin Laden’s compound penetrating deep into the terrorist’s lair to reach the exact spot where the Al Qaeda leader was cowering when the bullet entered his head. SEAL Target Geronimo is an explosive story of unparalleled valor and clockwork military precision carried out by the most elite fighting force in the world—the U.S. Navy’s SEAL Team Six.

Warrior Soul: The Memoir of a Navy SEAL
"Since the first navy frogmen crawled onto the beaches of Normandy, no SEAL has ever surrendered," writes Chuck Pfarrer. "No SEAL has ever been captured, and not one teammate or body has ever been left in the field. This legacy of valor is unmatched in modern warfare."
Warrior Soul is a book about the warrior spirit, and it takes the reader all over the world. Former Navy SEAL Chuck Pfarrer recounts some of his most dangerous assignments: On a clandestine reconnaissance mission on the Mosquito Coast, his recon team plays a deadly game of cat and mouse with a Nicaraguan patrol boat. Cut off on the streets of Beirut, the author’s SEAL detachment must battle snipers on the Green Line. In the mid-Atlantic, Pfarrer’s unit attempts to retrieve—or destroy—the booster section of a Trident ballistic missile before it can be recovered by a Russian spy trawler. On a runway in Sicily, his assault element surrounds an Egyptian airliner carrying the Achille Lauro hijackers.
These are only a few of the riveting stories of combat patrol, reconnaissance missions, counter-terrorist operations, tragedies, and victories in Warrior Soul that illustrate the SEAL maxim "The person who will not be defeated cannot be defeated."
