Ben Stein's infamous scene in Ferris Bueller's Day Off was voted one of the fifty funniest in American film history. His quirky lectures are a fascinating foray into America's cultural, political and social life. Stein has had what may be the most diverse career of anyone now on the national scene. Award-winning actor, economist, writer, journalist, and teacher, Stein is equally well known in America's boardrooms as he is in America's dormitories and fraternity houses.

In the 1970's, he worked at the White House, writing speeches for Richard Nixon, and, later, Gerald Ford. (He did not, however, write the line, "I am not a crook.") Stein burst into the popular consciousness a decade later with his portrayal of the iconic boring economics teacher in Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He went on to play recurring roles in a number of hit television shows, before getting his own show, the Emmy-winning quiz show, Win Ben Stein's Money.
