Originally from Iceland, this highly sought after sex expert, often described as the "Dr. Ruth of Generation Y," has been featured in numerous publications, including: Maxim Magazine, Esquire Magazine, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Playboy Magazine, Men's Health, the Chronicle for Higher Education, The New York Post, USA Today, and Details Magazine. Yvonne has been a hit with a number of TV shows, including NBC's Today Show, MTV/CTN, The John Walsh Show, and Naked NY with Bob Berkowitz. She has been interviewed on numerous radio shows throughout North America. With a TV production deal in the works, she is the next "It" girl of sex.

Identified by the U.S. Secretary of Health as an expert and key leader in the area of sexual and reproductive health, Yvonne was a consultant to the U.S. Surgeon General's Call to Action on "Promoting Responsible Sexual Behavior." Armed with her Master's in Human Sexuality Education from the University of Pennsylvania, Yvonne has written her own book, The Hot Guide to Safer Sex (Hunter House, June 2003), acting not only as a titillating sexual health educator, but the voice of a generation, with a refreshing Scandinavian approach to sexuality.

Yvonne is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in International Community Health, with a sexual health focus, at New York University, where is professor of "Sexuality & the Human Experience" and writes the nationally recognized "Sexpert Tells All" column for the Washington Square News. She is an active member of the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality (SSSS). She is also an expert with the Internet's Sexual Health Network.
