Daniel Libeskind's Latest Architectural Masterpiece Now Open In Denver

Eyes on the Prize Returns to National Television - Bring One of The Show's Producers to Campus

Eyes on the Prize

Eyes on the Prize is widely recognized as the most important documentary on the Civil Rights movement. First aired in 1987, the series was nominated for an Academy Award, and won six Emmys, as well as the Peabody Award, and the top duPont-Columbia award for excellence in broadcast journalism. However, due to copyright issues the series has not been seen since that first airing. It is now back on PBS, and a new generation is getting a chance to see one of the great stories in American history.

Judy Richardson was a producer on the series, and she remains one of our most informative voices on the African-American experience. She makes a great choice for a Black History Month speaker.
