Rave Review
for Robert Kurson
Author of Shadow Divers a Big Hit With
College Audience
A recent visit by Robert Kurson to Southern State
Community College was the highlight of the fall semester. The event
organizer was thrilled with Robert's content, delivery, and interaction
with students. Read on for some in-person comments:
"Robert
Kurson is not a lecturer--he is a storyteller. Lecturers talk at
their audience, but storytellers bring their audience into the story,
getting them involved from the very beginning. And the audiences
Robert spoke to here at Southern State loved him. After his talk
with two of our college classes, the questions just kept coming,
and he graciously answered them all, sharing anecdotes and tips
on his craft. The students were fascinated with the Shadow Divers
story, but also with Robert Kurson himself and what made him decide
to choose writing as a career. That evening at the "lecture",
I looked around the auditorium and saw people literally sitting
on the edge of their seats, anxious to hear what would happen next.
Please let us know when Robert tours with his next book--he made
many fans here, and we would be happy to have him back."
