Nikki Barrett is definitely a global soul who thrives on diversity and variety, ideas and stories. Born in Zimbabwe (Rhodesia at the time) she came to Canada via England. Prior to joining The Lavin Agency she worked in book publishing for both the publicity and editorial departments of Random House Canada. In between the worlds of books and speakers, she spent nine months travelling through Africa. In her spare time Nikki enjoys writing travel articles and short stories. She has published in Chatelaine Magazine, En Route Magazine and has a piece on South Africa in the travel anthology, AWOL: Tales for Travel -Inspired Minds.
