There is a saying, “if
you can’t beat them, join them” and after
eight years in the speaking industry and over 2000 speaker
bookings over his career, that’s exactly what Michael
decided to do. Michael joined the Lavin Agency in January
2003, “to be able to work with and represent the
best speakers and minds in the country”.
A graduate
of Simon Fraser University with a degree in Business
Administration, concentrating in Marketing and Finance,
he has served as Education co-chair for MPI, CSAE and
PIPP Provincial Chapters as well as representing several
CFL stars in their contract negotiations. Michael’s
goal for each client is to book the speaker that will
be the highlight of his or her event.
