Finishes Second in Women's
Division and 11th Overall in Grueling Ultramarathon
Considered the most challenging ultramarathon race in the
world, The Sahara Race takes place over seven days in Egypt.
Sandy raced 150 miles in six stages, carried all of the
food and supplies she needed on her backand finished
second among women competitors. Her breathtaking presentations are based
on races such as these, and the lessons they impart: the
power of positive thinking, the importance of taking life
one step at a time, and the tenacity it takes to succeed.
