Happy
Holidays From The Lavin Agency - Instead of Cards, We Sent
a Cow!
Please accept our warmest wishes for a peaceful and relaxing
holiday season, and a joyous 2006. In lieu of holiday cards,
we have made a donation on behalf of our clients to World
Vision which will purchase one milking cow for a family
in a developing country. Capable of producing 200,000 glasses
of milk in its lifetime, a cow is a gold mine of health
for a poor family.

Canada's
Leading Technology Futurist Tod Maffin Developing Podcasting
Strategy for CBC Radio
Helping to Shape the Way Canadians
Use New Technologies
Technology Futurist Tod Maffin is helping
to shape the way Canadians use and experience technology.
In a series of meetings to be held in January in major cities,
he will be inviting Canadians to share their experiences
with Podcasting and their ideas on how CBC should make use
of this technology, and will then work with CBC on its on-demand
roll out strategy.
A pioneer in the business and social application of new
technology, Tod's highly customized, interactive and entertaining
keynotes and seminars are perfect for any company or association
that wants to understand what the future holds. He is in
high demand by media companies around the world to consult
on the future of broadcasting. In addition to his work with
CBC, he helped ABC Radio Australia launch its on-demand
network, and has spoken to groups from the Canadian Cable
Alliance to the Canadian Association of Broadcasters.
