Lavin's Top Speakers Weigh in On David Chilton as CBC's Newest Dragon

In a recent interview with CBC's Jian Ghomeshi, David Chilton—one of the most requested business speakers in North America—shared his love for entrepreneurial endeavors and offered valuable insights on start-up companies, investing, and on facing tough competition. Chilton's savvy for saving and entrepreneurship landed him a coveted spot on the Dragons' Den: and while the (mostly friendly) competition on the show is as fierce as ever, he seems to be fitting in just fine by the high standards of his fellow Dragons.

“David's been great,” says Arlene Dickinson, CEO of Venture Communications and an expert speaker on business and marketing with Lavin. She adds: “He has a great perspective and brings a very different viewpoint [to the show].” Even the knowingly frank business speaker Kevin O'Leary had kind words to share about Chilton. He said that the Wealthy Barber author is “interesting” and  “going to make a big difference .”

Chilton is the author of two of Canada's best-selling books on successful financial life: The Wealthy Barber and The Wealthy Barber Returns. On stage, he provides hopeful entrepreneurs with valuable advice on making in his signature laid-back style. “There's no better return on investment than starting your own business,” he says. “We all win when entrepreneurship does well.”
